Today was Veronica's 21st birthday.

And she was spending it, alone, in her apartment in DC. Her bosses had given her the day off, which she appreciated, but she was definitely missing her friends.

Oh, sure, she could have gone out for her first legal drink with some of her co-workers, but that somehow wasn't the same.

Anyway -- August 19th is nadiathesaint's birthday. Snakes on a Plane opens on August 18th.

sogothcally and demonbelthazor are both going to be in town that weekend. There's also a high likelihood that cookinggeek is going to be in town for the day.

I think we should plan a lunch & movie or movie & dinner outing on the 19th.

I know we have some new players in game since our last meet up -- if you're in the greater DC Metro area and you wanna hang with your fellow geeks, lemme know :) We generally end up in the Silver Spring area because there's a lot of cool restaurants and it's pretty easily accessible to everyone.

Veronica was packed and ready to go. She and Archie definitely deserved a trip off the island after everything they had gone through the last few weeks.

While she was waiting for him to get back from his workshop, she sat at her laptop and fired off a quick email as promised. Too bad she didn't realize she'd attached the wrong pictures.
